As many of you know, I WAS my daughter's Mother's Day gift!!! Isn't that awesome? My dear son in law flew me to Colorado to surprise my daughter, and it worked! She was sitting outside when I arrived. She saw me in the car, and started jumping up and down!!! It was my first trip to this amazing part of our country! So much fun. I have tons of photos, but I'll post them later as a slide show. Right now I want to share a couple of fun pieces...
This great grouping was done by Barbie in her hallway. The frames are 8x10, 5x7, and 4x6 and 5x5. The letters are all black vinyl. Remove the backing from the frames, use an aggressive glue, like Beacon 3 and 1 Adhesive to secure the glass to the frame, and then clean the glass with vinegar. Apply your vinyl and hang. She used Command Picture hanger strips, and it was very easy to make sure they were straight. This would be a great project for a family name, or maybe a nursery, too. What ideas do you have?
I'll be back soon with a bunch of new ideas!
Happy crafting!
Betty
