Sweet Cakes Album

Isn't it fun when you can create the most versatile and personalized album for someone?  The most fun celebrations always have cake!!!  So why not make a completely decorated cake album to capture the memories of the event?
This album features a double opening cover, ready to decorate with your favorite papers depicting the special event, then pile on the embellishments!
The theme of the cake is always showcased with the cake topper, and this masterpiece is no exception!  Here we have birthday candles, but you could have a name, graduation cap, numbers, Christmas tree, spooky haunted house, baby shower theme, bride and groom, new home, just ANYTHING!!  This is the center photo tag, which fits into one of the pockets built in to the album.
There are five double folded tags, making twenty full size photo mats for telling your celebration story!
Here we have an album just perfect for an Anniversary, Shower, or even the Wedding!
Capture your photos of the Easter egg hunt, and visits with the Easter Bunny, as well as everyone all dressed up in their Easter Bonnets, in this adorable version of the SWEET CAKES album.

The photo filled SWEET CAKES ALBUM tutorial is available for only $5.95!!
Download it today, and make one for every celebration♥

Happy New Year!!

Hope your New Year is full of the very best of health, happiness, prosperity and peace.

In my UStream Class on Tuesday, we created this SIGNS OF THE TIMES project.
It is a series of seven boxes, covered in paper, with embossed metallic strips on the sides.
Each box has a hook and loop dot so you can create different frames to change the signs to celebrate all year!
This is the arrangement for our 38th Anniversary this past Thursday!  (I wish you could see the gorgeous sparkle!)
Here are the Signs all decked out for a PARTY!!!
Notice the boxes are arranged in different locations, depending on the lettering!  FUN project!
You are invited to check out the DEC. 27th UStream Recording to get the particulars,
or click here for the box info.

Speaking of PARTY.... I have a BIG Birthday coming up soon.... one of those with BIG round numbers...
and one of the gals said that "60 is the new 50",
and since I am nearing 50,000 hits on my blog...
{{{THANK YOU SO VERY MUCH!!!}}}
I am going to have a PARTY!!!
On Tuesday, January 10th, at my UStream Class
it will be PARTY TIME!!!
There will be a special BIRTHDAY PROJECT
BIRTHDAY PRIZES
BIRTHDAY RECIPES and
Always some SURPRISES up my sleeve!!
and I hope we hit the 50,000 mark by then!
I hope you and your friends will come and help me celebrate!!!

Happy Anniversary

Today is our 36th wedding anniversary, and this House Mouse couple seemed to be just right for my card to my hubby this year. He gave me a new set of water color pencils for Christmas, and I was using them to color these sweet little mice. The paper on the top is lucious handmade paper my friend Kristi gave me, and the bottom is Wasau Pearlescent Glimmer paper (also a gift from Kristi!) I used the Love Language hearts Cuttlebug folder to emboss the bottom section, as well as my new Deco Fan Martha Stewart punches for the trim. Add a little doodling and a couple of bows, and that's it.

I'll be back soon. Hope you are enjoying your holidays! Be safe and be happy!
Happy crafting ~

A few things to share today

I know you think I've been lost - not really so, but I'm down with bronchitis, and haven't been posting for a while. Thankfully, it's not the flu, and I'm on the mend. Thanks for your prayers and good wishes.
Here are a few goodies that I've done, but haven't gotten posted......

This features the new Cuttlebug Christmas tree folder on the red background, and the green section is punched with Fiskars corner and edge punch. The stamp was done in evergreen embossing powder and highlighted with red and gold Sakura pen.

This fun tree was done with a new Penny Black stamp that my hubby surprised me with. I stamped the background trees first, by stamping the ink off onto scrap paper first, then stamping the image onto the card. Then I did the central tree. I used a LaPlume pen for the berries on the tree. The birds were drawn free hand, and colored in with LaPlume pens. I highlighted the glisten on the tree with Stickles. The snowflakes are a Martha Stewart punch.

Happy anniversary to Emmanuel and Claudia :) He asked me to make this card. She loves stars and their favorite colors are purple and blue.

These little fellows are made from tags and punches! Aren't they cute!?

Happy Birthday to my daughter, Barbie! This card is created with one 8 .5 x 11 sheet of cardstock. You can see how it is folded, with the bottom turned up to create a pocket for holding a gift card or other goodies! The cut away section allows the top flap to fold down and hold the card shut. fun!

Be sure to follow the 12 Days of Christmas going on over at Cuttlebug Challenge between now and Christmas Eve! The design team has lots of beautiful ideas to inspire you for now and into the New Year. I hope you are enjoying your Christmas Season. Blessings to All and Happy Hanakkuh to my Jewish friends!!

Happy Anniversary and Cuttlebug Challenge #12

This was our 35th Anniversary, and this is the card I made for my sweetheart :-) The gemstone for 35 is Emerald, so I used plenty of glittering jewels on the card. They were originally "diamonds" but with a green Sharpie, they easily became "emeralds"!!
The Cuttlebug Challenge this week was to Sand the Embossed Image, so I used the Bird and Floral design, and lightly sanded the top with an emery board, so that the white core of the paper shows through. The tree image is from Imaginesce, and the Happy Anniversary is cut at 2" with the Calligraphy Cartridge. The ribbon and jewels are from M's and the paper from Sam's. The inking was done with the MS stacked colors that I got for Christmas...thanks Mom! A litte accent work with a copper gel pen by Sakura, and it is finished. Thanks for checking it out!

Happy Anniversary

Many thanks to Linda Davis for the diamond cut file for this card! This is Ali and Chris, and it's their anniversary. The cutouts are backed with mulberry paper, and trimmed with diamond stickles. So pretty!!
