Cuttlebug Rendezvous Monday Challenge

It is my pleasure to get to present the Monday Challenge for Cuttlebug Challenge Blogspot again! This time I was thinking about St. Patrick's Day being this week, and thinking green, but instead of giving you another color challenge, this time we're thinking Mother Nature's green.
I also thought of the pot of gold at the end of the rainbow, and how all of us could use some extra money, so what better challenge than to make some "Cash from our Stash"!!! AND to Do someting green and recycle or reuse something from around the house.... Here we go!!

Okay, I know we've all got scraps, (She with the most scraps wins, right?) I hesitated to show you my scrap box, but we're all friends, here, right?!? Well, I dove in and found a piece of yellow paper with smudges on it. Then I embossed it with the Circles and Dots folder (can't remember it's real name), grabbed an OLD green crayon and colored in a bunch of them. Then I pounced ink over the top, which didn't stick to the crayon.

The next step involved cutting the fish and the grass from a paper cup, and layering on a piece of an onion bag in the corner. Adhere everything, add a computer generated message, and we have a "cash worthy" card!

Back to the scrap box, previously embossed items, and my feather duster....
And here is a card inspired by Dawn Griffin, of Dawn's Stampin' Thoughts. This doesn't open like the typical A2 type card. It is 4 1/4 X 5 1/2 but it pivots open, and the message is under the turquoise section. Cute, huh? I thought the feather went with the designer paper, and it was fun to work with...

One little brad, and the whole card is put together.
Okay, I know you have buttons on shirts that are waiting to be cut off, ribbons from packages that will be perfect, dryer sheets that will glisten like diamonds with glitter on them, aluminum foil and gift wrap to emboss, and oodles of other creative ideas out there. Hmmmm, I got a box of microscope slides today....
Be sure to create something wonderful and post it to CuttlebugChallenge.blogspot!
Happy Scrapping,
BettyBee
