BFFs and a DT Call!

What could be more fun than a card for your Best Friend? One that is made for a very special Design Team call! Robyn, the very talented, My Pink Stamper, has issued a DT call for two additional members of her elite team, and the requirements are to use one of your favorite Cricut Cartridges and three of her favorite colors (pink, green and brown) to create a special piece to enter into the running.

Robyn usually creates pretty clean and simple pieces, so that is the style I chose today.
I also used her wonderful stamps on this card. If you will recall from my earlier posts, I LOVE her stamps, because they are so crisp and give the very BEST impressions!
Here is how to re-create the card that I made:
Recipe: Card is 5 1/2 x 6 finished size.
Cut green Echo Park background at 5 1/2 x 6
Cut white background cardstock at 2 1/2 x 5 1/2, distress with brown, and stitch with pink thread.
Cut little girls from A Child's Year Cricut Cartridge at 3 1/2 " in pink and in brown with Shadow Feature.
Cut medallion from A Child's Year at 1 1/4 " i nbrown.
Cut heart in pink from Plantain SchoolBook Cricut Cartridge at 1 1/2 ".
Stamp "Girlfriend" and "BFF" in Memento Cocoa from My Pink Stamper 'Friends and Family' Stamp Set
Layer striped designer paper, 1 1/2 x 4, medallion, dimensionals and hearts.
Add ribbon from Papertrey Ink. Add medallion piece over the ribbon with dimensionals.
Add pearl accents to the medallion and the upper right corner of the card for balance.

I know it will be difficult for Robyn to choose only two from the hundreds who are applying! But, you will never make it if you don't try!! If you are interested, you have until Wed. night, and here are the specifics:

*You will need to have a blog
*You cannot already be serving on a DT that has product that is a conflict of interest (most DTs are just fine as long as they do not sell product that is similar to My Pink Stamper Original Cricut Stamps idea)
*Your project must be made just for this challenge
*Post a pic on your blog with a full recipe along with what the challenge is about
*This needs to be a new project that you make just for this challenge
*Only one entry per person, please
*You must have either a Cricut or Imagine to serve on the team
*No experience necessary but you must have a love for the craft! :)

Check out My Pink Stamper for the rest of the story! (and wish me luck!)
I'll see you again tomorrow!
Happy Creating ~
