Be Inspired #97 Book It!

Today's card is entitled "One Last Book of Summer" and this might be one last look at our summer vacation photos for a while! This is the Victory Monument at Yorktown, VA. The statue of Lady Victory (the sister to the Statue of Liberty) commemorates the victorious battle of the colonists over Cornwallis, and the end of the Revolutionary War, in 1781.And here is my entry for the Cuttlebug Challenge #97 - Book It! We have been having a Book Club this summer, and, though I've been traveling and haven't been reading as much as I like to, there have been some wonderful stories out there....what did you read this summer?
My image is from an artist that is new to me.... a delightful children's book illustrator named Elizabeth O. Dulemba. She offers wonderful coloring pages and free images....so be sure to check out her website!!

My Cuttlebug got some fun use on this with the Asian Scales folder for the "waves" and the new Dominoes folder creating the frame behind the Copics colored image.

Computer generated wording inside and out makes it easy to say whatever you like :)

These little embellishments were both friends on Life's A Beach Cartridge.
I hope you enjoyed this project, and will get over to Cuttlebug Challenge and create something with a BOOK theme for this week's challenge. I have something really different in mind for Cuttin' Up Saturday!
In the meantime......
Happy crafting ~

Great job, Betty! I love the dominoes folder behind the picture! Too cute. And that crab is just darling.

Betty, this is so sweet! Wonderful detail too :)

I read and enjoyed a couple of John Lescroart books this summer. I am currently reading the last book of the Stieg Larson trilogy, The Girl Who Kicked a Hornet's Nest. Love this series! I have read the first two books & seen both movies. I am going to re-read them again for sure.

Love this Betty! I really need to take some time to read again. Haven't had much time for that lately and I miss it terribly!
