Heritage Article, Volume 4

Well, it's the first Saturday of the month again, and my privilege to present another Heritage Article over at Cuttlebug Challenge. This month I'm presenting a handful of ideas on how to handle some documents, photos and precious memorabilia.

Check out this very romantic Valentine ♥ that my GGGrandmother received!

Find out how to create this mat and frame to showcase this old fashioned portrait.
(Cute little fellow, isn't he!!)

This Certificate has been rescued, trimmed and placed in protective custody!

Last, but not least, find out how to identify individuals in a group photo.
This picture of 25 of my relatives was taken before my parents were married.
They are in there ~ can you find them?

I hope you have been following the Heritage articles, and are having great success in gathering your precious photos, family stories, and treasured mementos. Have you done any interviews since our visit last month? Remember, the bridge from the past to the future must be built today. Don't let your memories be lost.

Please leave me comments and questions! Let's save the past together :)

Happy crafting ~

You inspire me! I need to start getting those photos out and doing some scraping. I'm making Cristmas albums for my family and extended family this year. We need to be journaling all our wonderful times together...never know when you are checking out. Keep up the good work. Hugs, Linda

I found Grama and Grandaddy! How sweet are they?!

Porter saw the booties that he wore for his blessing day on his shelf and he said "Grandaddy's shoes"...isn't that precious??? I LOVE having them displayed so I can see them every day.

I love you! You are amazing!
