Sweet Flowers for a Friend

Soft pastels, lots of layers and lace, and a smiling Tilda are the perfect card for any little girl, no matter what age we happen to be!
This one is graced with flowers made with a terrific new technique that I learned from my friend Kathy at Paper Phenomenon! It is done with a punch, or Cricut, a pencil, and a little glue! Be sure and get over to her blog and watch her video! I made carnations, but her version shows you how to make your own Prima style roses!!! Way to go, Kathy!!

Tilda is sitting on a new (old) Cuttlebug folder that I just got, from the Disney collection, called the Pearl Frame. It is really fun! How nice it would be with shiny paper to make a mirror, too.
All of the punches are Martha Stewart, and Tilda is colored with Copics, and a little bit of Stickles, with Sakura Sparkle in her eyes.

I hope you have enjoyed a beautiful long weekend. Today is Memorial Day her in the United States, and we take this day to honor those who have given the ultimate sacrifice to ensure our liberties and freedoms. My family has long honored those who serve, and I continue to thank those who stand in harms way today. Bless you all. May God bring you home safely, and bless us all with peace.

I'll see you again soon!!

Happy crafting ~

I am trying giveaways to grow. I hope I get as good as you. I have only been paper crafting for about 5/6 months, but not everyday.

I know I have the cricut but was really ill last year.

Aunt Betty, I love this card. I want to learn how to make the flowers! Could you help me with this? I wish we lived closer to each and so I could learn lots from you.
