Be Inspired #34

Today's Cuttlebug Challenge is to use BasicGray Papers, and I have this pretty piece called Two Scoops that was just right for a light hearted message from a little Imaginesce Birdie.

I stamped the image on the designer paper first, then onto the yellow cardstock, which I colored with Copics, and finally onto soft pink vellum. I ran the vellum through the cuttlebug with the Swiss Dots folder, and then used Copics to highlight the beak and the flower. Thick glue dots gave it all just enough dimension to make it stand out. The flowers are primas. The border punch is Fiskars, and the lettering was hand written this time.
I hope you have some BasicGray papers to do something fun with, and post it to the Cuttlebug Challenge! There are always great things happening over there. Check out the other designers blogs, too!!!
Happy Scrapping!
I'll be buzzing back tomorrow with a look at my ribbons in Studio Bee....

Betty, this is so sweet! I have that cute bird stamp and can't believe I've not used it before - what you've done here has inspired me to dig it out! Love how you have layered it especially with the vellum. Gorgeous!
