Cuttlebug Spa Weekend: Relax, Rejuvenate, Be Inspired

Roses are Red, but VIOLETS are Blue
and with this BLOG HOP the winners are YOU!!

African Violets are said to be the one plant that people desire most to have in their homes because it makes them feel happy. I love them, especially because they remind me of a very special Aunt who had a great knack for growing them. Her windows were always filled with beautiful purple blossoms. Any time I see them, I get that happy feeling in my heart.

How do you relax? My favorite relaxation spot is my lanai, which in Florida is a sun filled room, with windows on three sides, and mine has African Violets, and is decorated with a Bee Theme :) (Are you surprised?) I am surrounded with treasured items like a quilt, wall hanging, figurines, windchimes, wreath, and other gifts, all from dear friends, andall with bees on them (of course! )This is my warm and sunny spot to read, which is my favorite type of relaxation. I have a rocking chair, so my big cat, Rusty, and I can cuddle up and read a good mystery. Oh, and don't forget the chocolates!!

My word for the blog hop is "Violets" ; and after you check out my card, sign up as a follower or a subscriber, and leave me a comment, (so you are eligible for my awesome BLOG CANDY CONTEST***!!!, plus all the other great contests on CBC), you head on over to see what Karen Maldonado has to share, and get the next clue in the BLOG HOP! When you get all of the flowers, go to CBcontest@gmail.com and you will be entered into the drawing for those magnificent prizes that you saw on CUTTLEBUG CHALLENGE BLOGSPOT!!!

I love to relax by cardmaking in my little room with a nice cup of tea.

Love the colour of african violets. Got some tiny violets it the garden right now. Would you believe my Grandma's real name is Violet and she doesn't like it. She prefers to be called Molly. I know which one I'd prefer.....

The African violets are beautiful. I always buy them in the spring. I would put them outside but our dog is very good at digging up my plants so I just put them in containers inside.
I love to read too. Great way to relax and if I read in bed our cat sits on my stomach and purrs away, too comfy for words.
Eveline.

Love violets - but I can't grow them. I think I overwater - I used to get one each year on Administrative Assistant's day but the past couple of years they've given me cyclamen instead. I think they figured out the African Violets were a waste of money on me! LOL!
