Fancy Frame and No DP Challenge

This week at Whoopsi Daisy, we are challenged to use no designer papers, so I decided to go fancy with this frame cut from the Sentimentals Cricut cartridge. To make it into a card, I fussy cut the white back piece by hand, since there is no blackout feature on this cartridge, (but it was easy to trace and cut) and attached it with a paper hinge. The sweet little girl image was colored with Copics. Add a few gems, and you've got a very impressive stand up card to showcase your 2 1/2 x 3 1/2 artwork!
In keeping with my New Year's goals, I am also entering this into a couple of other challenges. Perhaps you can join in, too! Our Creative Corner is having a "Hey, Chickadee" challenge, and this qualifies, because it features the little birds. Over at Cute Card Thursday, the challenge is to use up old stash, and I have used only scraps for this card! Maybe I'll try a couple more challenges another time. What is your favorite challenge blog? I hope you are doing the Monday Motivationals with us over at BettyBee's Buzz!! Tomorrow we will be featuring the very trendy Faux Embossing!
Until then ~
